Home Occupation
- You must complete the proper application in its entirety and have it signed and notarized prior to submittal of your Home Occupation Registration.
- Copy of applicant’s Georgia driver’s license noting the address is located within the City limits of Roswell (this is for Home Businesses Only)
- If applying for In-Home Daycare you will be required to complete a Commercial Business application and supply your certification from Bright from the Start (Georgia Department of Early Care & Learning). You may contact the Child Care Licensing Division at (404) 656-5957 or 1-888-442-7735.
- Affidavit Verifying Status: Needs to be signed in the presence of a notary.

Payment of Fees:
Home Occupation Tax: $100.00
The Home Occupation Tax is pro-rated to $50.00 after July for a half year.
Commercial Business Registration
You must complete the proper application in its entirety and have it signed and notarized prior to submittal for a Commercial Business Registration.
- Copy of Certificate of Incorporation (if business is incorporated)
- Copy of Professional State License (if applicable) at www.sos.state.ga.us
Restaurant or Food Service Permits
Restaurants only:
- Copy of current Health Inspection Report with the Grade noted or current Food Permit

$50.00 non refundable Administrative Fee
For your convenience we accept checks or money orders, payable to The City of Roswell. Payment by credit card is also accepted (Visa, Master Card or American Express).
